Volunteer Recognition:
Again in 2008, the John Deere Classic Tournament will host an "all week"
party for the very best volunteers on the PGA TOUR. Located on the hill
just above the #18 Tee, there will be a 80' x 30' air
conditioned Volunteer Tent available for all volunteers.
Each volunteer will receive a coupon for a FREE lunch (in the Volunteer
Tent only) for each day worked. Prizes will be posted daily
with a Grand Prize for one lucky volunteer awarded on Sunday.

The John Deere Classic will receive 10% of all these sales for our
charities plus a potential bonus if we're in the top 3 volunteer

Volunteer Tent Details:
Volunteer Tent Hours:
Monday - Friday - - - -7:00am to 7:00pm
Saturday - Sunday - - -7:00am to 5:00pm
Lunch Hours:
Thursday - Sunday - - -11:00am to 2:00pm
Each day a volunteer works, their team Captain will pass out a food
coupon, good for one free lunch in the Volunteer Tent or it can be
redeemed as a $3.75 voucher towards food purchased at any concession
stand out on the course. There will be "take out" containers in the
Volunteer Tent. The Volunteer Tent will be hosted by the Young
Professional Network (YPN) of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.
200 volunteers will be awarded a free round of golf at the TPC Deere Run
(40 per day - Wednesday thru Sunday). These free rounds must be used
during the 2008 season, be scheduled with the TPC seven(7) days in
advance and ARE transferable. This replaces the old Volunteer Golf
Outing.
There will be one Grand Prize awarded on Sunday.
