Transportation Volunteers Home PageTransportation works Saturday before tournament week through Monday after tournament. A good driving record and outgoing personality are requirements of this committee, as our primary function is to escort the TOUR Pros and/or their families, shuttle the caddies and media. The first face the PGA professional sees is a Transportation volunteer and the last at the end of their visit. Shifts are available at both the golf course and the airport (where we greet incoming/departing Pros). Working conditions for the Transportation Committee are desirable because you are not required to walk or stand for extended periods of time and all vehicles have air conditioning.
