Tuesday, June 24th, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, June 26th, 2008 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

No Alternate Dates - You must arrange to pick up
your uniform on one of these days.

We're down to 40 days before the tournament! Jonathan Byrd is back to defend his title, and I'm sure we'll see some other great players come through with the new John Deere Classic offering of a charter jet to the British Open for the players who want to take the red-eye to Manchester, England.

Also new this year, thanks to the hard work of Sally Welvaert, we have new signs! Check them out here >

Not only will they be easier to carry, but we have also ordered a special holder for more comfort. The signs are made of aluminum, and the names will stay snug and secure in their spot.

The registration link is below. It will take you to the area on the JDC Volunteer Web site to register. Please fill out the form right away so we have your information ready at uniform distribution.

If you are or you know someone who is interested in being a Standard Bearer, please email Diane Lowe at stickchick1@yahoo.com. Also, as you a planning your schedule, please consider being a walking Standard on Wednesday, July 9, Pro Am Day. It is a fun day to be out on the course, and we could really use more volunteers on that day.

Save the dates!

June 24, 25 & 26: Uniform distribution (see left). We have ordered special sleeveless Ladies shirts again this year. This years color is a soft yellow. Let's have a sell out so grab your girlfriends and get your shirts! Guys will again have the regular short sleeve volunteer shirts.
July 6, 2008: In-service clinic and Mini Golf event. Our annual clinic is a great idea for refreshing the basics and for the newcomers. Our Mini Golf event highlights our Birdie's For Charity #250 Make A Wish Foundation of Illinois. A really fun morning so please plan on attending!
July 8, 2008: Set-up and decorate the tent! Call team volunteers report on this day too.
July 9 - 13, 2008: Tournament Action!
