Dear Scoring Volunteer:

Thanks to those of you who volunteered last year and made our tournament a big success. We will be the operators for the very successful ShotLink™

The dates for this year's tournament are July 7-13. To volunteer we strongly encourage you to use the online registration available at www.jdclassic.org/volunteers. If you don't have access to the internet, please complete the enclosed form and return to Rita. We give consideration to early volunteer registrations, so register as soon as possible. Note that the job description for Walking Scorekeeper has changed, so please review it.

Volunteers who work at least 3 shifts will receive free volunteer parking, a pass for the entire tournament and lunch on the days that you work. Clubhouse passes can be checked out.

We ask that you volunteer for at least 3 shifts.

For example:

Thursday PM Greenside Laser Operator - hole #1
Friday AM Greenside Laser Operator - hole #1
Sunday (all day) Fairway Laser Operator - hole #3

The uniforms are beige-tan/khaki bottoms and light yellow shirts with the JDClassic logo. Women's bottoms should be pants, skirts, culottes or "walking shorts". Men's bottoms should be pants or "walking shorts". The shirt is the only required item for volunteers to purchase. Pictures and additional information will be available soon at the volunteer's web site: www.jdclassic.org/volunteers.

Uniform, badge and assignment packet pick-up for this year:

Dates:	Tuesday, June 24th	Wednesday, June 25th	Thursday, June 26th
Time:	4 to 8 PM	4 to 8 PM	10 AM to 2 PM
Where:	Deere & Company World Headquarters, One John Deere Place (John Deere Road), Moline

Please be ready to pay for your shirt when you pick it up (Check or Credit Card ONLY - NO CASH). We will be available at the uniform store to give you your badge and assignment. Do not leave without seeing us!! Please call or e-mail Jim [(309) 755-5407 or jm43976@yahoo.com ] if you can not pick up your assignment and shirt at these times.

Scoring workshops will be on July 7th & 8th. We will notify you as to times and location. Because of the ShotLink™ Scoring System, the scoring workshop will be MANDATORY for new scorekeepers and laser operators and STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all scorekeepers and laser operators.
