Scoring Volunteers Home PageThank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer for the 2008 John Deere Classic. This years tournament will be held at the TPC Deere Run. Tournament dates are 7 - 13 July 2008. SCORING volunteers provide the on course, real time, data input to the PGA TOUR's ShotLink Scoring and Statistics System. Some volunteers operate laser measurement devices on fairways and greenside. You must be able to walk to your assigned position. Another assignment involves walking with the golfers using handheld ShotLink devices. This assignment requires being able to walk 18 holes and a good knowledge of golf rules.     |
