		Mission Statement

		The mission of the John Deere Classic, a not-for-profit corporation, is 
		to conduct a PGA TOUR sanctioned professional golf tournament that will:
		Contribute positively to the quality of life in our community 
Provide growing annual financial contributions to charity
Promote volunteerism
Provide a positive economic impact to the community

To all of the JDC Volunteers:

I wish I could thank each of you in person for the hard work and long hours everyone put in for the 2010 John Deere Classic. It was a great event made possible by all of your efforts, not only during tournament week, but all year long leading up to the event. We are consistently told by players and the PGA Tour staff that they love it here, and one of the primary reasons is how well they are treated by our volunteers. Rocco Mediate told us that he could not believe how nice EVERYONE is here. This community is very fortunate to have the tournament and volunteers like you that make it possible, so again, thank you.

I was honored to serve as your chairman for the 2010 tournament, and look forward to seeing you in 2011 for another great tournament!
